Sunshine Ordinance
City Council adopted a “Sunshine Ordinance” to provide greater access to meeting agendas beyond the “Brown Act.” In Oxnard, Council meeting agendas are available 12 days in advance and 7 days for other meetings.

Measure B
In March of 2020, voters passed Oxnard’s Measure B in support of the City’s commitment to financial transparency. Measure B requires that all contracts greater than $200,000 be posted for public review.
