In the United States, there are 1,000 cases of sudden cardiac arrest every day! By learning how to perform “Hands-Only” CPR until paramedics arrive, you can increase a cardiac arrest victim’s chances of survival.
You can learn “Hands-Only” CPR for free at events throughout the City. Look for an Oxnard Fire booth and make sure you ask a Firefighter to teach you Sidewalk CPR; it will only take about 5 minutes and by the end, you will be able to help save a life!
Be a Life Saver – Download Pulse Point! Pulse Point is a smartphone app that will alert you when a sudden cardiac arrest occurs nearby and CPR is needed.
